  3. Click the Audience stats button in the top-right corner of the page.

This page is updated once a day and displays your current total followers, email subscribers, and referred members (if you are a member of the Partner Program). You’ll also see how your audience has changed each month in the Monthly growth section. Audience is defined as follows:

  • Followers
Readers who follow you on Medium. This excludes deactivated, deleted, or suspended users.
  • Email subscribers
Readers who have opted to receive emails from you. This excludes those who have unsubscribed or are inactive, deactivated, deleted, or suspended.
  • Referred Members
Active Medium members who signed up for membership from your profile or referral page.
  • Referred Member earnings
The amount you’ve earned from your referred members. It may be affected by cancelations, refunds, or chargebacks.

Please note: Due to the frequency of updates made to the data on this page, you may notice that the number of followers may differ on other pages. To see your most up-to-date count of followers, visit your profile page.

Important: The referred member program will be deprecated on September 1st. After this date, only existing referred members will contribute to your earnings. Learn more.
