Audience is defined as follows:
- Followers: Readers who follow you on Medium. This excludes deactivated, deleted, or suspended users.
- Subscribers: Readers who have opted to receive emails from you. This excludes unsubscribed, deactivated, deleted, or suspended users.
This page is updated daily and displays your current total followers and email subscribers in the Lifetime section.
In the Audience growth section, you can see graphs that show you how your audience has changed month over month. You can also review previous years by clicking on the pill-shaped select and selecting the year to review, or download a CSV with your audience stats.
Please note: Due to the frequency of updates made to the data on this page, you may notice that the number of followers may differ on other pages. To see your most up-to-date count of followers, visit your profile page.
Subscriber list
You can see who your subscribers are by clicking on View subscriber list. Here you can view their name and subscription date. The list excludes those who have unsubscribed or are inactive, deactivated, deleted, or suspended.
You can also export a list containing the emails you imported, as well as the emails of users who subscribed to you before April 2025, when we rolled out changes to the email subscriptions. Export is only available on the web. If your list only includes users who subscribed after April 2025, the export will be empty.
The subscriber list is updated daily.
