You can connect your phone's address book with your Medium account to find friends.
The contacts uploaded to Medium look for the contacts' email addresses. Medium does not match contacts based on phone numbers. You can only upload your contacts book only using the mobile apps.
Connect your address book
- On your homepage, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Settings in the top-right corner.
- Under Find friends, tap Sync contacts and tap OK to allow the app to access your contacts app.
Disconnect your address book
You can disconnect your contacts from Medium from your phone's Settings app, not the Medium app's settings.
- On your phone, open the Settings app.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap Apps.
- Scroll down on the page and tap Medium.
- Tap Contacts and select None under Contacts Access.
