Submit your taxpayer information

1. Sign in to your Medium account.
2. Visit the taxpayer information page.
3. Add your information. For help filling out the form, see Filling out the W-9 tax form (US taxpayers) or Filling out the W-8BEN and W-8BEN-E tax form (nonresident aliens).
4. You will receive an email confirmation once your information has been submitted.

Edit your taxpayer information

1. Sign in to your Medium account.
2. Visit the taxpayer information page.
3. Click the Edit button at the bottom-right corner of the form and enter your updated information. For help filling out the form, see Filling out the W-9 tax form (US taxpayers) or Filling out the W-8BEN and W-8BEN-E tax form (nonresident aliens).
4. Click Next and complete the rest of the form. A confirmation screen will appear at the end.
5. You will receive an email confirmation once your information has been submitted.

Validation may take up to a few days. You will receive a second email once your updated information has been validated.
