By joining the Medium Partner Program, writers agree to Medium's Terms, Rules and Policies, and Partner Program Terms. Failure to comply with these standards may result in removal from the program.
Reasons for removal include, but are not limited to:
- Failing to meet the originality, quality, and engagement standards required for monetization.
- Engaging with paywalled stories in a coordinated or inauthentic way, including reciprocal arrangements designed to artificially inflate earnings.
- Paywalling AI-generated content in violation of Medium's AI content policy.
Note: Removal from the Partner Program is permanent. There is no appeals process.
