When you share a Medium post on Facebook of Twitter, a card is created with a preview of your content.
Twitter and Facebook look at the initial post data, such as your title and featured image. If you make changes to those elements, Medium sends out the new information. Twitter re-scrapes the data after a few hours, but Facebook does not.
Updating your Facebook card
- Go to the Facebook tool at developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
- Paste the URL of the Medium post and click Debug.
- Click Scrape again.
