Can I upload a Microsoft Word document, PDF file, or other file to publish as a Medium story?

Medium does not support uploading files, and there's no way to upload a file to convert it to a Medium story.

To publish a story on Medium that you already have in a file on your device, you would need to copy and paste all your content of the file into a new draft and publish it from there.

Please note that during this process you might need to fix the formatting using the Medium editor's formatting features, which might differ from the options offered by your word processor of choice.
