This feature is only available through the web.
To manage publications you contribute to:
- On your homepage, click on your profile picture.
- Click Settings and then go to the Publishing tab, or go to https://medium.com/me/settings/publishing.
- Click Manage publications.
From here you can:
- Create a new publication (this is a membership perk).
- Access publications you are contributing to.
- Manage publications if you are the owner or an editor.
- Open the 3-dot menu next to the publication name and then click on Publication settings.
- Leave the publication if you are an editor or a writer.
- Open the 3-dot menu and then click on Leave publication.
Leaving a publication
Once you leave a publication, you will no longer be able to submit your stories. All the stories that were already published in the publication will not be automatically removed. You will need to remove them manually if you no longer want them to be part of the publication. Additionally, the editor(s) of that publication can remove the stories.
Publication owners can't leave their publications. To leave a publication as the owner, you'd need to transfer the publication ownership to another editor in the publication. Learn more.
